Before mounting the alarm part, test the range of where you should mount the alarm by the beeping sound of opening and closing the freezer door. The gap between them should not be less than 0.39 inches nor exceed 0.59 inches. Use a pencil/marker to mark where to mount the alarm part, remove the protective covering from double-sided tape, and mount/stick the alarm part on the freezer body. Close the door to turn off and reset the alarm.

The freezer door alarm features a delay function, giving you a grace period to retrieve items from the fridge before the alert activates. The loud alarm volume (120 dB) ensures you hear it anywhere in the house. A door-closing reminder is provided by alerting through different sounds and volumes.
