DIxie Kold-Lok Freezer Paper
Designed for short-term (3-6 months) storage and grocery carry-out, the lightweight freezer paper features a unique base paper, poly coating, and added plasticizer to provide easy handling and protection against freezer burn. The product's Basis Weights are as follows: Paper 36#; Poly 5#; Plasticizer 2#; FINISHED WEIGHT 43#.
The polyethylene coating resists freezer burn by keeping moisture out, while the added plasticizer softens the sheet and helps it cling to meat, making wrapping easy on the hands. The sheet also has wet strength added to resist punctures and tears, and it is compliant with regulations for food contact.
The Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certified sourcing label serves as proof that Georgia-Pacific is using fiber from responsible and legal sources. SFI is a registered trademark owned by Sustainable Forestry Initiative Inc.
Approximately 85% of the product's weight is composed of compostable cellulose fiber. The product may be processed in commercial facilities that have final screening capability, though such facilities may not exist in all areas.
